This week in particular, my wish: Meditation
I’m not talking full-on chanting, sitting in a dark room “om”-ing (although I could certainly get into that, too!)–merely, I just want to make an effort to simply be. I like to think I do a pretty good job of living in the moment, however, when times get overwhelming or if I’m overstimulated, I tend to freak out real quick. Thus, with all the craziness that is May, I’m going to try to be mindful and take 5 minutes a day to just sit/lay by myself, close my eyes, shut out my thoughts, and just breathe.
Kate’s wish for the week: To live with my bestie again.
…Or at least not have to take a 4 hour plane ride to see her. Sure, we may take some time to have our own adventures, but I have no doubt that our paths will cross again (if only because I decide to stalk her). Because, what can I say? she gets me.
